How Ruby Works

Ruby lets you combine every way to save: loyalty points, sales, coupons, and cash back. Find the best deals, browse your favorite stores, and checkout - all on the app.

Let’s break down how to save on Ruby:

1. Connect your accounts, like Paypal and Hoopla Doopla cash back, to the Ruby app.
2. Find an awesome deal. You can browse stores like you usually do on the Ruby Browser, and Ruby will pop up with the best deals available (and if you’d be better off shopping elsewhere). Or you can search and scroll through products and deals in the main Ruby app.
3. Hit checkout. Ruby will autofill all your shipping and payment details, and add the best savings combination - so checking out is a breeze.

Get Started With Ruby

Just getting started with Ruby? Here’s the quickstart guide - you’ll be shopping and saving in no time.

1- Download Ruby. If you have an Apple device, like an iPhone or an iPad, get Ruby on the App Store. If you have an Android device, download Ruby on the Google Play Store.

2- Open Ruby and follow the onboarding steps. You’ll be asked for your email address, your name, and a password to secure your account.

3- Choose categories - like Travel, Media, and Gifts - to personalize your feed, so you see deals you’re truly interested in.

4- You’ll land on Ruby’s Home tab. Scroll down and you’ll find a green cash back section. Hit “Set up Hoopla Doopa” to create or connect your cash back account.

5- Next, head through to your Account. Click on “Autofill”, and type in all your card, email, and address info. You’ll only have to type these out once - Ruby will autofill your checkout details once you’ve set this up.

That’s all you need to get started with Ruby! Now, you can get stacked savings on every purchase you make.

Personalizing Ruby

Ready to let Ruby do more for your everyday savings? There are two main ways to personalize your Ruby experience:

Shop More With Ruby

Ruby delivers personalized coupons, driven by super-smart Artificial Intelligence that understands what you like to shop for - and then creates coupons based on that. To improve the quality of your personalized coupons, just browse and shop more on the app, so Ruby’s AI understands your shopping preferences better.

Follow Stores & Categories

Ruby’s home tab is a curated feed of the deals you’re most likely to want, based on your shopping behavior. To get even more personalized, just follow any store or category. Ruby will make sure you never miss a deal from your favorites!

Collections & Saved

Whether you’re compiling a wish list or waiting for the best deal on a big-ticket item, Collections come in super handy. Organise all your deals into Collections, so you can come back to them whenever you want.

1- At the bottom of your screen, click the “Saved” tab. Here, you can look through all of your saved coupons, products, and links, sorted into Collections. You can also add new Collections.

2- Click into a collection, and you’ll find your saved items sorted by coupon, product, and link. You don’t need to specify what type of item you’re saving though - Ruby does that for you automatically.

3- Find any product, web page, or coupon that you like? Hit the “Save” icon.

4- Choose the Collection you want to save your item to. When you go to the Saved tab, you’ll find your saved item in the Collection immediately!
